La logique des transports urbain

FM Logistic France, a subsidiary of the FM Logistic group, one of the reference international players in warehousing, transport and co-packing, has been certified as a Top Employer 2016, for the excellence of its Human Resources policy. The company was rewarded in particular for its talent, career and succession management strategy.

A highly valued label

This label, which is awarded every year by the Top Employers Institute, recognises companies that apply the highest criteria in terms of Human Resources policy.

The companies registered for the certification programme are selected to complete a "Good Practices" questionnaire. The aim is to assess their HR environment point by point: strategy, policy implementation, improvement, innovation…

After an audit conducted by an independent consultancy, the responses obtained enable the Top Employers Institute to name designate which companies to certify, like FM Logistic France, recognised for the excellence of its HR and managerial practices.

FM Logistic France, a committed employer

A socially responsible company, both benevolent and demanding, FM Logistic France has introduced, over many years, a large number of targeted actions: taking apprentices and sandwich course students; policies to encourage disabled workers, youth employment, employability; career path management and monitoring of employee potential; partnerships with the "grandes écoles"; interventions by business experts...

In addition, FM Logistic France invests a great deal in training: every year, 4% of the payroll is devoted to developing its employees' skills.

Questioned about obtaining this certification, Jean-Philippe Labaronne, Human Resources Director of FM Logistic France, points out: "Our company is proud to have been awarded the Top Employers certification. For its participation, and in spite of the demanding requirements, FM Logistic France scored a particularly high mark. Beyond the technical criteria and the numerous concrete achievements, it is both the company's values and its corporate culture that have been rewarded. On average, every year, we take almost 200 trainees, we sign a hundred "professionalisation contracts" and recruit about 400 people."

"Aware of the importance of the employees that make up our company, we take care to place them at the centre of our strategy, through high value-added projects: FMEA (a network of disability friendly enterprises), high-potential groups (support for employees with the potential to occupy key positions), FM University (a training programme that enables employees to enhance their skills throughout their careers), innovative pathways in collaboration with the ESSEC… And recently, FM Logistic France joined the Nestlé Alliance for YOUth programme, and its 200 partners, a scheme that aims to help young people into work in Europe."
