FM LOGISTIC A WINNER AT THE ALL4PACK INNOVATION AWARDS

FM Logistic has just received an “Innovation Award” at the All4pack 2018 trade fair for its brand new “LEAN DESIGN & COPACK” offer, a unique, comprehensive solution that includes consulting and packaging conception and design through production, while integrating optimal control over all co-packing operations. 

Internationally recognised for its co-packing and co-manufacturing expertise, with LEAN DESIGN & COPACK FM Logistic is now offering a comprehensive turn-key approach that includes:

  • Packaging conception and design from a creative team with packaging design expertise that is directly integrated into the design office. Equipped with the latest tools in 3D, graphics and design software, the department designs packaging and displays in 3D and guarantees industrial feasibility. Proactive and creative, the team works hard to reduce launch times in order to optimise overall costs, while designing coherent packaging with mechanised lines.
  • All co-packing operations are covered with unified production in Europe (3000 workers over 35 European sites), meeting brands’ needs for differentiation: blistering, overwrapping, X folding, sleeving, displays and gift sets. In this sector, FM Logistic offers numerous innovations like the first automated applicator of stretch sleeves in a provider setting, a carton cutting module, and the robotised arm… Ushering in a new vision of co-packing.

The Pack Expert Committee was very taken with this new offer, which was recognised in the “Packing and Conditioning service delivery/software” category, for its “full service and comprehensive outsourcing of packing and conditioning operations”.

The solution allows manufacturers to launch products faster while benefitting from optimised overall costs as well as optimum product development for improved sales, and tailor-made guidance with a dedicated consultant for the entire project.

International journalists selected 33 offerings from the 300 new products presented by the exhibitors at All4pack, an official selection that was then debated by the members of the fair’s Pack Expert Committee. This resulted in 11 winners being chosen across 4 categories, demonstrating the big impact that packaging has on the shape of the supply-chain.
