Global Purchasing Director: The Group Purchasing Director has a dual role as he/she is responsible for structuring and professionalizing the purchasing function by defining and deploying state-of-the-art methods, information systems and processes.

The Global Purchasing Director defines and implements the purchasing strategy by mapping the different purchasing categories and identifying levers for better cost or quality, analysing markets and recommending markets to be pooled and those to be localised. It also has various tasks such as designing innovative solutions to make purchasing a lever for creating value with our suppliers or customers (market place, shared purchasing, cross-selling, etc.) and a player in the group’s ecological transition, defining purchasing strategies with internal or even external customers.

The Purchasing Assistant works in support of the operational team of buyers to facilitate the various stages of the purchasing process. Reporting to the Purchasing Administration Manager, he/she manages purchase orders in SAP, assisting in the management of invoice disputes, coordinating the management of non-conformities and ensuring their closure. The Purchasing Assistant works in tandem with the buyers to ensure that the purchasing department’s objectives are met, and produce the department’s communication materials.
