Transport Driver: role and missions
The Transport Driver carries out the transport of goods in accordance with the schedules and in the best conditions of quality, costs and deadlines to guarantee customer satisfaction.
Chartered Manager: role and importance
The Chartered Manager participates in the organisation and optimisation of our clients’ delivery schedules by ensuring the allocation of transport services to partners.
He/she guarantees the commercial profitability of the services (transport, freight) entrusted by our clients by subcontracting at the best cost/quality/delivery time ratio, by organising and optimising delivery schedules, in compliance with transport regulations, specifications, safety rules, internal regulations, business processes, operating methods, the quality approach and the company’s values.
What does an Operating Agent do?
The Operating Agent manages the drivers’ schedules, customer orders and the return of rounds, ensuring customer satisfaction, compliance with company policy and the achievement of the department’s objectives.
Role of the Operations Manager and support to the Transport Department
The Operations Manager manages a team of 30 to 100 people made up of drivers and operators, as well as a fleet of vehicles. He/she also manages and optimises the activity and ensures that quality commitments are met.
What does a Transport Coordinator’s job description look like?
The Transport Coordinator coordinates all operations related to the processing of orders, the receipt and dispatch of goods. He/she organises the transport plan and optimises delivery times for our customers and plans the physical flow of goods. He/she also draws up the documentation associated with international operations, in compliance with social legislation, specifications, internal regulations, safety rules, business processes, operating procedures, quality and the company’s values.
